RETURNING AND HEALTH GUARANTEES
Puppy & Dog Refund and Return Policy
As a responsible breeder, I am committed to the lifelong welfare of every puppy I produce. To ensure clarity and fairness for both the buyer and the breeder, the following refund and return policy applies.
1. Full Refund – Within the First 60 Days
If you are unable to keep your puppy or dog within the first 60 days of purchase:
You may return the puppy to the breeder.
A full refund will be issued provided the puppy is returned in good health and has received appropriate care during this period. Refund will be paid once the puppy is resold to his or her new owner.
2. Partial Refund – From 60 Days to 6 Months
If you need to return the puppy after 60 days and up to 6 months from the date of purchase:
A partial refund may be offered, depending on the dog’s health and condition at the time of return.
The breeder will complete a health assessment, which may include veterinary checks, testing, and behavioural evaluation.
The refund amount will be determined based on the dog’s condition and any veterinary or rehabilitation expenses required before rehoming.
3. After 6 Months – Considered a Surrender (No Refund)
Any return made after 6 months is considered a surrender, unless it involves a proven genetic health issue (see Section 4).
No refund will be provided.
The dog must be returned to the breeder to ensure safe and responsible rehoming.
Resale, rehoming, or surrender to pounds/shelters is strictly not permitted under the purchase agreement.
4. Genetic Health Guarantee
If your puppy is diagnosed with a verified genetic condition (confirmed by a licensed veterinarian):
The breeder will offer a replacement puppy from the next available litter, based on your preferences and availability.
You may choose to keep the affected dog or return them to the breeder—whichever option supports the dog’s welfare.
5. Breed-Specific Conditions (Cherry Eye, Entropion, Skin Folds, etc.)
Although this is extremely rare in our program. We are dealing with living beings.
Certain conditions are common and well-documented in many dog breeds, including the Cane Corso. These include, but are not limited to:
Cherry eye
Mild entropion/ectropion
Skin fold irritation
Minor structural or cosmetic breed traits
These issues are not considered genetic defects and are regarded as breed-specific due to some dogs predispositions. We cannot test for these conditions and some are often caused by environmental factors as well.
They will not affect the dog once treated. The breeder will not refund, replace, or cover veterinary costs for these minor or cosmetic conditions. They do not fall under the Genetic Health Guarantee.
Ongoing Support
I am here to support my puppies throughout their lives. If your circumstances change at any age, please contact me first so I can ensure the dog remains safe, well cared for, and placed appropriately. The Cane Corso is not for every family and when change of environment can behave in a way it has never done before. So please reach out to me before anything else. Our puppies no matter the age must come back to us for safe rehoming or through our guidance.
If you have any questions about this Refund and Return Policy, please feel free to get in touch.
